Macey’s Introduces Macey’s Perks = Free Grocery Bag for Signing Up!

Today, Macey’s grocery store will introduce a new program called Macey’s Perks. It is a rewards program that was developed as a way to thank Macey’s loyal guests and to make Utah’s happiest shopping experience even better. The cardless program will offer multiple benefits for guests including point-based thank you gifts, surprise discounts, exclusive sale information, notifications of recalls and clip-less coupons.

Each member of Macey’s Perks will receive a digital wallet that will automatically load all of Macey’s weekly store coupons. And coming in late fall, Macey’s will be offer a variety of additional digital coupons through a special partnership they have formed with Google.

The digital wallet will also track each dollar a Perks member spends and will accrue points toward seasonal and other special promotions. Perks balances will be listed at the bottom of Macey’s receipts or can be viewed within the member’s profile at: www.maceys.com/perks.

Also, a number of options within the Perks program can be personalized online, including the ability to link family member’s accounts and create customized shopping lists. The shopping list feature will allow members to keep an alphabetical itemized list of grocery items that will be updated as the items are purchased, helping guests manage their personal grocery lists.

And to kick off the new program, Macey’s is already giving away freebies. Register for the Perks program and you’ll receive a free reusable grocery bag just for signing up (while supplies last.) Plus, starting October 1- November 24, Macey’s Perks members will earn points towards a free Thanksgiving turkey with every purchase.

There are three easy ways to become a Macey’s Perks member:

1. Sign up at the register. Tell the checker that you would like to become a Perks member, give the checker your phone number and then go home and complete your profile online.
2. Sign up online.
3. Sign up at the service desk – simply fill out a brochure or talk to our helpful and friendly staff who can sign up on the spot.
