It’s that time of the year. Time to dress up. It has been YEARS since I dressed up for Halloween. Honestly, I am not sure I remember the last time I dressed up. It has always been about the little kiddos. Well, this year I was invited to go to Witches Night out at Gardner Village. Well, I pass that up. I mean, a bunch of crazy women, dressing up like witches, eating, laughing, shopping. Really! What fun!
BUT! What would I wear? I could have tried to put a costume together myself, but I’ll be honest, I just didn’t feel like it. It would take a lot of time and energy to come up with my own costume. Could I do it? Sure. Did I want to? No, not really. Especially when I could just hop online and find a Witchy Costume for cheap!
I looked through all of the cute costumes and found this super cute Witch Costume. It even came in Plus Size! I was a little nervous about buying a costume online…and a dress at that!! But I took the plunge. I’m so glad I did.
I am super happy with this costume. I decided to take pictures of the costume right out of the box, so you could get a good idea of exactly what it looks like. For Halloween I will iron it, but this gives you a great idea of exactly what I got.
I am a little busty up front, so for ahem a little modesty I decided to wear a black shirt underneath. I personally feel a little more comfortable with the shirt underneath, but you don’t need it.
I do have a little bit of an issue with the length I am really quite short and this costume is LONG! Nothing a little hem can’t fix. Even if you don’t sew, you could easily pin this up if you are short like I am. I am sure my taller friends would love it. I know how frustrated they are when items are super short.
It has been fun to get to try on a costume for myself and not just my kiddos. My favorite part of the costume is the hat! Which you can buy separately.
Isn’t it cute! I just love it! I plan on hitting it with the iron too and it should be amazing!
So, don’t be afraid to purchase items online. Especially Halloween costumes. There are so many fun options. I am so happy with my purchase. I will be ordering again next year!
