WARNING About Printing Coupons in Windows 8

couponscom WARNING About Printing Coupons in Windows 8

If you have recently upgraded to Windows 8 you are not going to be able to print out coupons from Coupons.com.

I just received the following email from them:

If your readers have recently upgraded to Windows 8, they will not be able to print coupons from our site across all browsers (IE, Chrome, Firefox) while operating in Metro mode. The coupon printer uses an Active X control that has been disabled by Microsoft in Windows 8 Metro Mode.

To print coupons in Windows 8, your users will need to visit our site from a browser opened in Windows 8 Classic mode. To switch to Classic Mode in Window 8, navigate back to the desktop by selecting the desktop tile, then launch the browser of choice as you normally would.

I hope this helps some of you.  Also, they are telling me that it is a last call on the coupons pictured above.  Hurry and grab those coupons before they are gone!

About Becky

I am the frugal minded mom to two adorable little girls and wife to an amazing husband. They are my number one priority. I have been going through a major weight loss journey and have lost 100 pounds! I'm still losing weight but my focus is in living healthy and doing it on a budget. I have always loved finding a great deal. I can remember clipping coupons and rebates with my grandma as a very little girl. Now, as a wife to a hard working Jr High teacher, saving money and being frugal is a necessity. I love being able to provide things for my family that we need and want without breaking our budget in the process.
