monster jam reviewBecky and I got to take our families to Monster Jam at the EnergySolutions Arena in Salt Lake tonight. It was SO much more fun than I anticipated, and I can’t wait to take my family again next year! If you didn’t go tonight, you can still get tickets to tomorrow’s event at 7:30 pm! Get your tickets HERE. Ticket prices are $25, $30 (Gold Circle) and $45 (Front Row)

You’ll definitely want ear protection for your family. I used cheap $2.99 muffs that I found at Harbor Freight. They seemed to work just fine for the kids. Becky opted for these electronic muffs for her girls. For ourselves, we just used the foam ear plugs. All the kids kept their muffs on without a problem. It was SO loud without them, that they were more comfortable wearing the earmuffs than leaving them off.monster jam review 4

As you can tell, the kids were SO into it! They each picked a truck to cheer on throughout the night. There were even tears at one point when a certain spiky truck didn’t win an event.

Wheelies are a crowd favorite! Man, can those trucks get up there! Those drivers have some skill to keep them from tipping over.

Well, most of the time. But what’s a monster truck show without at least one tip over?

If you go tomorrow, be sure to take photos and hashtag them #mymonsterjam. We’ll be looking for them!
