It’s giveaway time again!

We have had a lot of Really Awesome giveaway on Utah Sweet Savings.  We have given away some amazing and really fun items.  But I have to tell you, this has to be one of my very favorite giveaways ever!

No, it’s not worth hundreds of dollars.  No, it isn’t something super cute to wear.  No, it isn’t something fun to put in your house.  No, it isn’t even free groceries.  All of those giveaways have been awesome and I can’t wait to do more of them (hint, hint).  But this giveaway is for something that has saved me some serious heartache in my house.

I have mentioned before that I have two girls.  One is 4 and the other is 2.  They are the cutest girls on the planet.  Seriously!  Being a Mom is by far the best job in the world and I love it.  But there is one thing about being a mom that is NOT fun!  Not at ALL!  Potty Training!  Seriously, I HATE it.

My now 4 year old potty trained when she was about 3 1/2.  (About a year ago)  It was horrible.  I hated it.  We tried when she turned 3 and it was miserable.  Tears all around (her and me) and I vowed that I would wait until she decided to do it on her own.  At 3 1/2 she was ready and it was better that time around but it was still really hard.  Lots of accidents and Gynormous amounts of laundry.  She was still wearing diapers at night.  She just couldn’t seem to get staying dry (or getting up to go) at night.

So when my 2 year old started showing interest in the potty and wanting to sit on it I was dreading the thought.  Luckily, this time I had a secret weapon   I didn’t know it at the time, but the Potty Time DVD would become my favorite DVD in the house.  And my girls’ too.

If you haven’t heard of Potty Time, you need to check it out!  It is seriously Amazing.  The first time we popped it in, my girls were dancing and singing along.  I walked out of the room for about 5 minutes and heard a little voice calling from the bathroom.  My 2 year old had gone in, sat down on her little potty, and went!  Seriously?  Awesome! {follow this link to the best potty seat out there.  We have two of them and they are the BEST}

Fast forward one week…  2 year old is potty trained and 4 year old is sleeping through the nights in panties.  She stays dry all night!  They also are both following one of the songs by “Potty, Potty, Wipe, Wipe, Flush, Flush, Wash, Wash!”  I have had such an amazing experience with this DVD!  The songs are all so much fun.  We still turn it on just for fun.  It is also one of those shows that the kids like and, as a mom, I don’t go crazy!

Now, can I promise that if you get this DVD your child will be potty trained in one week?  NO.  All I can tell you is what happened in my house.  But, I will tell you, I wish I had it when my 4 year old potty trained.  I would pay almost anything for this DVD!

Thanks Potty Time!  You have made me one Happy Mommy!!  You seriously can’t go wrong with this DVD.

Oh, with all my excitement  I almost forgot to tell you that Potty Time is giving away one copy of this Awesome DVD to one lucky reader.  Just fill out the rafflecopter below to enter.  Also, make sure to head on over to Potty Time’s Facebook Page and tell them that Utah Sweet Savings sent you.

  16. Jessie C. says:

We used reward system for training, it worked great.

  17. What do you do when your toddler will go #1 in the potty but not #2?? I am in the middle of potty training my 2 1/2 year old boy and he is too scared to go #2 in the potty, he holds it forever until he is super uncomfortable. He finally started to ask for diapers just so he could relieve himself. Maybe this dvd would help, I don’t know but it might be worth a try 🙂

    • I wish I had a good answer for you. Thankfully both of my girls never had a problem with that one. Can anyone else help?

      • Maybe if I just give it a little more time and not pressure him with it he will eventually want to go in the potty, fingers are crossed! Thanks anyways!

    • Alison, don’t know if this is the “right” way to do it, but I gave my daughters yogurt with a little mineral oil in it. Makes the stools looser so they really want to go. After a few accidents, going in the potty seems like a great idea – just don’t make a big deal about the accidents – he’ll notice how uncomfortable they are. Good luck! So glad I am not in that stage right now!

  18. I need my kid to finish potty training! It’s been an epic misery for me… she for some reason loves it, so I guess that’s good. Let this potty training magic come to me!!

  19. I’ll be starting with potty training soon…. and I’m dreading it! It’s my first and everyone keeps telling me how hard boys are, yikes! I could use all the help I can get!

  20. I have a two year old boy and I’m dreading the potty training experience.

  21. Tabatha Carlson says:

Getting ready to start potty training my youngest!

  22. For us it was pretty easy, nighttime bedwetting is the challenge

  23. Have not potty trained yet…nervous!

  24. I have potty trained two kids and am in the middle of struggling with my 4 year old to do it. My two oldest were super easy- we waited until they were ready and wanted to do it and had no problem they were trained within just a few days and never have accidents at night. My biggest recommendation would be to wait until the kids are ready. It’s different with each child.

  25. Chia-Chen Buck says:

Me me me! I have a 2 year old boy to train soon!

  26. My just turned 2 year old is showing signs of being ready but I didn’t want to push her. So now I’m thinking that I’m going to start since it’s fall break. I will have to check out this little video set. Thanks for the suggestion!

  27. My little girl will be 18 mths old when our second daughter is born and I would love to have her potty trained not too soon after!!!!

  28. Shanna Patterson says:

I am hoping that our first potty-training experience goes smoothly with help from the Potty Training DVD!

  29. Heather Wone says:

Currently potty training my second! My first was fully potty trained at 2 and a half. My two year old son wants absolutely nothing to do with it lol!

  30. I’m potty training #3 right now. Even if he takes until his 4th birthday in 2 months to do it, he’ll still be my youngest to potty train! I need something to help out and have wanted to do this DVD! After your experience, I may have to buy it even if I don’t win!

  31. Jenny VanWagoner says:

Hoping to start potty training my 2 year old daughter soon.
