If you are looking for a new book for your kiddos or even the entire family to read together, let me recommend The Adventures of Rockford T. Honeypot written by Josh Gottsegen.

My 12-year old daughter was given this newly released book and she enjoyed it so much she wrote her own review. This is HER review:

The Adventures of Rockford T. Honeypot is a phenomenal book that will make fans and new readers alike thirsty for more. This fast-paced novel contains twists and turns in every chapter, switching between past and present tense along the way. Combining the animal world we know today with modern technology, Josh Gottsegen has put together an extraordinary tale.

For da kids, this book was fun to read because of all the humor and plot twists in this book. The main characters are chipmunks (1 monkey and 1 squirrel too) but they have modern technology. There are a lot of lessons mixed into the action and overall, this book will excite the whole family.

As you might be able to tell, she would like to be a writer one day too. lol

You can purchase The Adventures of Rockford T. Honeypot on Amazon ($14.99 Paperback or $2.99 eBook)

As a young chipmunk, shy, bookish Rockford THoneypot had dreams of thrilling adventures across the forest. However, timid of danger and germs, his only adventures were found in books and his imagination. When his family abandons him after a mistake that destroys their hazelnut business, Rockford sets off on a legendary journey beyond his wildest dreams. From exploring cuisines with a famous chef, training with ancient warrior monks, flying on giant hawks, finding true love, and much more, Rockford recounts his epic origin story of hardship, perseverance, and fortune.
