The Valley Center Playhouse is a Utah County community theater that was started over 30 years ago by Keith and Jody Renstrom. They felt a need for fun family entertainment and when they couldn’t find it, they started the theater themselves.
The Renstroms have selflessly given of themselves to serve the community and provide opportunites for others to learn and grow and share their talents in a clean theater environment.
The Valley Center Playhouse is a nonprofit organization and everyone involved is a volunteer. This a true community theater. Its success is directly a result of the efforts of those willing to get involved and whose influence resonates throughout the community.
Local playwrights, actors, directors, choreographers, and others have all gained opportunites, experience, confidence and new friends through the Valley Center Playhouse. We invite you to become part of the Valley Center Playhouse community!
My family and I really love attending plays at the Valley Center Theatre. My kids love to go see the Frankenstein and The Christmas Play every year. It is a great place to take your family and it won’t leave your pockets dry. To go to a movie with our seven kids it would cost us $72 not including popcorn and treats. We can take our family to a play and pay just $25.00! Honestly, they enjoy it more than the movies because it’s different.
I found this great deal at Deal Dragon. If you want to go out on a date and leave the kids home you can get a $7 certificate to “Marriage Go Round” for only $3.50. This play runs from January 6-16. Or you can take the whole family out to any play this month for just $15.00. There is a FREE web coupon you can print out for a $15 family pass so you’ll save $10.00. The family pass is good for only immediate family not extended family.
