A few months ago I was watching a little boy for my friend once a week while she went to work. He hated being dropped off (although he was ok once he was here), and really struggled with it, till she read “The Kissing Hand” by Audrey Penn to him. We saw the book while we were on a day outing with him, and he mentioned that he liked it, so we borrowed it, and my family fell in love with it, too. This is a MUST READ if you have a child who needs a little extra something special when you have to leave them. It’s such a sweet story!
