Umbrellas that include a Push button tilt will have a break in the center pole where a joint resides. When your umbrella is fully opened, you can take hold of the joint and press a button that unlocks the upper pole section and allows you to lower the fully open canopy sideways towards the horizon blocking the sun as it dips towards sunset.
