TODAY is the first day that Disneyland is welcoming back out-of-state guests! There are some important things you need to know before you just show up at the ticket counter, though. Things have changed!
One thing that HASN’T changed, is our awesome partners, Get Away Today. They always offer Disneyland tickets that are discounted off the gate price, and they’re the ONLY refundable Disneyland ticket option. You’ll get your tickets via email within minutes of booking, and their tickets are valid through December 31, 2022. Because theme park capacity is limited, you’ll want to buy your tickets and make your theme park reservations immediately.
Double the fun with a Park Hopper® Ticket. Start the morning with your favorite Pixar pals at Disney California Adventure® Park and then hop over to enjoy a magical afternoon at Disneyland® Park beginning as early as 1pm or vice versa! Theme park reservations are required to visit the theme parks and when you book with Get Away Today, you’ll receive your Disneyland® Resort ticket numbers within minutes. Please note, unlike in the past when you could hop over to the other park whenever you wanted, at this time you cannot gain admission to the second park till 1pm.
Both a theme park ticket AND a park reservation are required for each person in your party (ages 3 and up) in order to visit the Disneyland® Resort at this time. Check current theme park availability here. Theme park reservations can be made up to 120 days prior to travel on a rolling basis. If traveling within 120 days, it is recommended that you make your theme park reservations immediately after purchasing your admission. Follow these steps to make your reservation:
- Go to StartYourDisneylandExperience.com
- Sign In or Create a Disney Account.
- Create your Party by linking the tickets you purchased from Get Away Today (You can find your 19-digit ticket number(s) in the top, right-hand corner of the PDF that Get away Today emailed you, right underneath the barcode)
- Select the Day and Theme Park you’d Like to Visit
- Review and Confirm Your Visit
Disneyland Resort is doing everything they can to help make your visit as safe as possible, including enhanced cleaning and reduced contact. Currently, all guests that are unvaccinated ages 2 and up are required to wear a face-covering indoors. Stay up-to-date on their Covid-19 modifications HERE.
Other important things to know at this time:
- As a result of the impact of COVID-19 on operations, FASTPASS and Disney MaxPass services are suspended for the time being and are not available for purchase or use.
- Magic Morning and Extra Magic Hour offerings are unavailable.
- Select attractions and certain experiences that draw large group gatherings—such as parades and nighttime spectaculars—will return at a later date.
- While character meet-and-greets are temporarily unavailable, characters are in the parks in new ways to entertain and delight Guests.
- The Disneyland Resort also has capacity measures in place, as well as limitations on parking and operating hours.

Avengers Campus is opening at Disney California Adventure Park on June 4, 2021! This new land will feature WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure, Character encounters, and unique dining and shopping opportunities. It looks like so much fun, and a welcome addition to the Disneyland Resort.
