We visited several national parks a few years ago including the Grand Canyon. I packed watercolors, paint brushes, and watercolor notebooks in our hiking packs, so my kids could stop and paint their favorite views. They loved it! Plus it gave them a chance to take a break and refresh during hikes.

I love these kinds of freebies to make memories with your family! We’re so lucky where we live near so many national parks in Utah, and we can really make this a possibility!
