I tried these Slip-On diapers a few months ago, so I thought I’d share my feelings about these diapers.
While I thought the general idea was good, I thought it was frustrating to have to keep laying my baby down and then standing him up again to get him dressed. He wasn’t very balanced yet to put one foot then the other into a diaper for me, so I would have to pull of his pants, then lay him down to take off the diaper, put his feet through the new diaper, then stand him up to pull the diaper up, then lay him back down to get his feet through his pants, then stand him up again to pull up his pants. My baby is no lightweight…it was quite a routing just to change a diaper!
However, now that he can stand up on his own and has the idea of putting one foot in at a time, diapering really is so much easier! I can get him changed without ever having to lay him down! It’s a breeze!
So, in the end, I would recommend holding off to purchase these diapers until your child is coordinated enough to put one foot through at a time. But once he or she has that idea, you will LOVE these diapers!
